I'm Paula, and I run Lytton Rose Botanical from the north coast of Wales, making dried and preserved floral arrangements and sending them UK-wide from my small studio in Capelulo, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

Before floristry, I spent years designing occasion and bridal wear for some of the UK and US's best-known fashion brands. That background shapes how I work: I'm intensely familiar with the aesthetics of big events, and I think about proportion, texture, and how something photographs, not just whether it looks nice on a workbench. My work has been featured on Love My Dress and displayed by the National Trust in floral exhibitions.

The arrangements I make lean towards loose, meadow-gathered forms- wild grasses, dried ferns, strawflowers, craspedia, statice, buttercups and daisies- I aim to create flowers that feel gathered rather than formally arranged. Everything is handmade in small batches to order, using British-grown or UK-sourced blooms wherever possible, with no floral foam. Florals that last months and years, not days and weeks.
